He was predeceased by: his parents, Bennie Bailey and Lora Bailey (Allen); his wife Norma J. Bailey; and his son Danny Johnson. He is survived by: his grandsons, Bryce Johnson, Benjamin Johnson and Blake Johnson; and his great grandchild Emersyn Johnson. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephew, and friends.
