It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melvin Wesley Branson of Buck Creek, Indiana, born in Indianapolis, Indiana, who passed away on January 5, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Branson and Lena Branson; and his siblings, Josephine Walker, Bertha Blackburn, Rosetta Short and William Branson.
He is survived by: his wife Connie Branson; his children, Monica Dunn (Douglas), Michael Branson (Teresa) and Micole Chatman; his grandchildren, Cody Dunn (Brooke-Lynn), Tyler Chatman, Michael Wyatt Branson, Alexander Chatman, Austin Dunn, Nathaniel Branson, Maggie Chatman, Connor Dunn and Samantha Branson; his great grandchild Adaline Joelle Dunn; and his siblings, Louis Branson and Theresa Wilson (Robert).
Face masks and social distancing will be required for those participating in the graveside service at the cemetery which will be officiated by Pastor Dave Galbraith.
