Though Madonna Josephine may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Madonna Josephine touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles DeBoy and Cecelia Hatke DeBoy; and her brother Eugene DeBoy (Pat). She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Linda Walters (Kevin) of Lafayette, Darlene DeBoy of Lafayette, Alan DeBoy (Judi) of Greenwood, IN and Dean DeBoy (Alison) of Lafayette.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Lawrence Catholic Church (1916 Meharry St, Lafayette, IN 47904). A Mass was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
If friends and family desire, memorials may be made to the Buck Creek Firemen's Association.
