He was predeceased by: his parents, William Thonn and Louise Thonn (Lawler); and his brother Ray Thonn. He is survived by: his wife Lisa Thonn of Bruceville, IN; his mother-in-law June Davis; his children, Sarah Chattin (Ryan) of Vincennes, Katie Heiden (Toby) of Bruceville, Meghan Riggs (Travis) of Vincennes and Samantha Kerzan (Kolby) of Vincennes; his siblings, Jim, Bill, Bob, Joe, Pat, Dan, Tom Thonn and Linda Henshall; his grandchildren, Cameron, Addison Chattin and Macee Braun (Josh); his great grandchildren, Mallory, Griffin, Hudson Heiden, Gracie Hartley, Madison Woolsey (Trevor), Kora and Klaire Kerzan; and also, Reagan, Keelyn, Tiah, Jaelyn and Payton Riggs. He is also survived by his children and grandchildren very much and coached his daughters.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to St. Philip Neri or Good Samaritan Hospice.
