He is survived by: his parent Harvey "Ted"; his wife Deborah Messer of Bruceville; his mother Betty Lou Messer of Bruceville; his children, Marlen Richard, Angela Meeks (Jeff) of Noblesville, Bobbi Zehr (Michael) of Fishers, IN and Jon Brown (Breana) of Brownsburg; his grandchildren, Dustin Meeks, Adrienne Meeks, Audree Logan, Brody Logan, Gabe Zehr, Kirsten Zehr, Miah Zehr, Eli Zehr, Lainey Brown and Memphis Brown; his great grandchild Lorelai Meeks; his sister Barbara Phillips (Alden) of Bruceville; his nephew Adam Phillips (Lee Ann); and also Ali Phillips.
