He is survived by: his spouse Mary Lee; his brother Clarence Bowman; his children, George Jr. (Jane) of Laurel and Charolet of Laurel; his grandchildren, Mike Bowman (Wife Jessica), Connersville of Indiana, George III (Wife Billy), Kimberly Whitaker and Shelbyville; his great grandchildren, Cadin, Layton, Brailen, Macyn, Adilyn, Elizabeth Bowman, Summer Whitaker, Britney Palmer and Daniel Palmer; and also Tim Bowman of Brownsville. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
