He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Sr. Stinson and Margaret Parish Stinson; his sisters, Elaine Huntington and Marion Stein; and his son-in-law Greg Shiverdecker.
He is survived by: his wife Louise Brandenburg Stinson; his children, Bryan Stinson (Julie) of Brownsville, Eric Stinson of Brownsville, LeAnne Eldridge of Brownsville and Lisa Shiverdecker of Brownsville; and his sister Judy Paul (Jerry) of Liberty. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren.
