It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Merle Hauer of Brownstown, Indiana, born in Vallonia, Indiana, who passed away on September 27, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Hauer and Edna Geyer Hauer; and his siblings, Marvin, Nolan Hauer and Iris Murrell.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Ann Denny Hauer; his daughter Ashley Krieg (Chris); and his grandson Nolan Krieg.
The Hauer Family is asking that all visitors please wear a mask while attending the visitation and service.
Memorial contributions may be given to Brownstown Church of Christ or to Vallonia Christian Church.
