She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy L. Holland and Grace Brogdon Holland; her husband William "Bill" Smith; her son Charles Michael Pollard; and her siblings, Alice Faye Holland, Vivian May, Curtis, Vernon, Lemuel and Kenneth Holland.

She is survived by: her former husband Charles M. Pollard. She is also survived by her five children.

Memorial contributions may be made to Positive Braves Classroom Fund, Brownstown Central High School, 500 Elm Street, Brownstown, Indiana 47220.
