He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Lee Stinson and Kathleen Nowling Gainer; and his half-siblings, Steve Stinson and Donna Stinson. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Aynes; his children, Monty Stinson (Lisa Robbins) of Brownstown, Kimberly Stinson of Indianapolis and Melanie Preston (Ryan) of Brownstown; and his grandchildren, Fallon Stinson, Alex Stinson (Harlee), Elix Preston, Genna Preston and Phoebe Preston.
Spurgeon Funeral Home, Inc. will be practicing social distancing according to CDC guidelines.
Memorials may be given to Brownstown United Methodist Church or Schneck Medical Center Hospice.
