He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Nierman and Elnora Nierman (Melloncamp); his wife Lois Schuerman; and his brother Harlan Nierman. He is survived by: his children, Michael Nierman (Rachel) of Brownstown and Lisa Wischmeier (Greg) of Brownstown; his sisters, Frances Klug of Lakeland and Sandra Edwards (Don) of Columbus; his grandchildren, Lindsey Sterling (Clint), Kyle Wischmeier (Trinity), Michala Nierman, Matthew Nierman (Ally) and Mallory Nierman; and his great grandchildren, Lynleigh Ann Sterling, Crew Daniel Sterling, Waylon James Nierman and Edey Lynn Wischmeier. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be given to St. John's Lutheran Church, Sauers, St. John's Lutheran School or Donor's choice.
