He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Christian Toppe and Addie E. Fogelding Toppe; his wife Helen Louise Peters Toppe; and his son Roger Dale Toppe. He is survived by: his children, Sandra K. Hackman (Dave), Sherri L. Glaser (Lester) and Ronald D. Toppe (Kim); his grandchildren, Michael, Darin Hackman, Jennifer N. Hash, Heather Rowe, Leah Parlegreco, Justin Doty, Ashley Nordoff, Brianna Schultz and Wade Toppe; and his brother William Toppe (Marian). He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
