He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Stanton and Mary Brown Stanton; his brothers, Paul Stanton, Charles Stanton, David Stanton and Asa Stanton; his nephew Jerry L. Stanton; his uncle Osco; and his aunt Edna Brown.
He is survived by: his sister-in-law Delilah Stanton; and his nieces and nephews, Donald W. Stanton (Ann), Charles E. Stanton (Diana), Ronnie Stanton, Woodrow Stanton, Deborah K. Driver (Nick), Kathy L. Cain (Scott) and Brenda K. Cooper (Phillip).
