It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Jackson Robertson of Brownstown, Indiana, who passed away on March 7, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Talmage Jackson and Lucille Jackson (Goodpasture); her husband Basil Robertson; and her siblings, J. Scott Jackson, Joe Jackson, Talmage "Jack" Jackson and Carolyn Robertson Pennington.
She is survived by: her children, Dana Ash of New Castle, IN, Jeanne Spray (John) of Greenville, SC and Jon Patrick (Suzie) of Eaton, OH; and her grandchildren, Casey Ash, Kyle Ash, Sarah Watters (Spray), Emily Boyd (Spray), Todd Robertson, Daniel Robertson and Brian Robertson. She is also survived by 16 great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Johnson Funeral Home (2005 S Main St, Vallonia, IN 47281). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be given to Brownstown Christian Church Kitchen or to Hoosier Health and Living Auxiliary.
