James E. Edwards Sr. Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 22, 2024, at the age of 81, James E. Edwards Sr. in Brownstown, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harley Edwards and Dorothy Edwards (Houshour); his wife Patty Edwards (Blankenship); his son Timothy "Timmy" Edwards; and his siblings, Marjorie "Marge" Edwards Cooley, Mildred "Midge" Edwards Fields, Mozena Edwards Hicks Geyman, Evelyn Edwards Sims, Vella Mae Edwards Donnell, Herbert "Marshall" Leroy Edwards, Ronald Edwards and Larry Edwards.
He is survived by: his children, James E. Edwards Jr., Anthony R. Edwards (Dawn), Gregory A. Edwards (Scott) and Cindi Edwards (Greg); and his brothers, William "Dean" Edwards (Ada), Robert "Bobby" Edwards, Floyd Edwards (Kathy) and Steve Edwards (Joan).
Visitation was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Voss & Sons Funeral Service (316 N Chestnut St, Seymour, IN 47274). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Fairview Cemetery (610 N High St, Brownstown, IN 47220).
Memorial contributions in James' honor may be made out to the Spraytown Free Methodist Church.
