She was predeceased by: her parents, Mancil Baughman and Mildred Motsinger Baughman; her husband William Jerry Garrett; her children, Marcus Lee Garrett and Marcy J. Garrett; her brother Lowell Baughman; and her grandchildren, Viki Underwood and Briana Ault.
She is survived by: her daughters, Susan D. Underwood, Debra J. Hamilton and Bethany J. Pyle; her sisters, Carole Scott and Janice Hallett; and her grandchildren, Jerad Garrett, Leah McPike, Ricky Underwood, Ata Abdulbari, Nidal Abdulbari, Sami Abdulbari, Ben Ault and Baylee Bowman. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren.
Due to the Covid 19 Pandemic, Spurgeon Funeral Home, Inc. will be practicing social distancing according to CDC guidelines.
Memorials may be given to Brownstown Christian Church or Hoosier Christian Village Auxiliary.
