He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin "Pete" Wischmeier and Ruth Wischmeier (Peters); his parents-in-law, Vance and Roxie Trueblood; and his brother Mark Wischmeier.
He is survived by: his children, Paul Wischmeier of Medora, Tom Wischmeier (Joanah) of Brownstown, Beth Shelton (Trent) of Freetown and Anna Spencer (Lucas) of Freetown; his grandchildren, Luke Shelton (Lauren Voss), Addison Shelton, Drew Shelton, Dylan Wischmeier, Caden Wischmeier, Landon Wischmeier, Rhett Spencer and Rossi Spencer; his siblings, Debra Klinge (Stephen) of Vallonia, Keith Wischmeier (Nancy) of Vallonia and Michael Wischmeier of Florida; and his foster brother Ed Dannis of Texas. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Memorials may be given to St. Paul Lutheran Church, Wegan, Lutheran Central School, or Schneck Medical Center Hospice.
