She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Alwes and Marguerite Melloncamp Alwes; and her husband Robert W. Persinger. She is survived by: her sons, Michael W. Persinger (Kimberly) of Highland Village, Mark A. Persinger (Penny) of Freetown, Matthew W. Persinger (Vickie) of Brownstown and Monte L. Persinger of Brownstown; her sister Carol Bell (Charlie) of Seymour; her grandchildren, James Persinger (Abby), Meredeth Hartgraves (Nathan), Kathryn Gill, Jonah Persinger (Brooke) and Madison Criminger (Kent); her great grandchildren, Alexia Persinger, Gavin Persinger, Ethan Paver, Tarani Persinger, Luke Paver, Maggy Gill, Emily Gill and Ally Gill; her great great grandchild Jordyn Parkin; and her siblings-in-law, Carol Boyer, Diana McKinney (Don) and Joseph Persinger (Judy). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be given to St. Peter's Lutheran Church or St. Peter's Lutheran Daycare.
