She was predeceased by: her parents, Orvis Oakes and Icey Oakes (Carender); her spouse Zolla Lee Miller; and her siblings, Lucille Lane, Ervin Oakes (Bill), N. E. Oakes, R. V. Oakes, Mervin Oakes and Clyde Oakes.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Lee Miller of Brownstown and Doris D. Miller of Brownstown; her sister Sharon Brock of Medora; her granddaughters, Jennifer Paige Davis (Rightler) of Pigeon Forge and Jodi Lynn McDaniels (Rightler) of California; and her great grandchildren, Bayley Alexis Davis of Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. and Palmyr Bryn Davis of Pigeon Forge, Tennessee..
