She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Meahl and Louise Meahl (Peters); her husband Wilbert Henry Wessel, Jr.; her brothers, George Meahl, Leroy Meahl (Joyce) and Ray Meahl; and her siblings-in-law, Linford Robertson, Kenny Wessel (Eunice), Debron Wessel (Juanita), Kelso Wessel, Ed Wessel (Bernice), Walter R. Wessel, Wilma Wessel, Rosa Nell Wessel and Violet Wischmeier (Robert).
She is survived by: her daughters, Jo Gail Ross (Mike) of Brownstown, Kim Loree Lucas (Bob) of Brownstown and Dena Lyn Hutchinson (Ronald) of Vallonia; her grandchildren, Michael Brant Ross, Shawn Ross (Tammi), Karra Hercamp (Cody), Stacie Teipen (Josh), Jesse Hutchinson (Kristy) and Tessa Ray (Brad); her great grandchildren, Mason Ross, Maddox Ross, Josie Ross, Cooper Teipen, Isaac Hutchinson, Eli Hutchinson, Ian Hutchinson, Owen Hutchinson, Remington Ray, McCoy Ray and Baby Hercamp; her sister Roselyn Robertson; and her siblings-in-law, JoEllen Meahl, Marlyn Meahl, Judy Wessel, Audra Deaton (Mike), Opal Roark (Ron), Bill Wessel, Lee Wessel and Ivan Wessel (Shirley). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 2nd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Peters Lutheran Church (403 W Bridge St, Brownstown, IN 47220).
Memorials may be given to St. Peter's Lutheran Church Prayer Garden Beautification Committee or St. Peter's Lutheran Church Cemetery Fund, Brownstown.
