She was predeceased by: her parents, Roger Fields and Naomi Fields (Goble); her husband James A. Hurt; her parents-in-law, Frank and Hazel Hurt; her daughter-in-law Kimberly Hurt; and her brother-in-law Earl Deitz.
She is survived by: her sons, Mark Allen Hurt of Seymour, Roger David Hurt (Sharon) of Brownstown, James Brent Hurt (Tami) of Brownstown and Timothy Wayne Hurt of Seymour; her grandchildren, Erin Tape (Clint) of Vallonia, Hayleigh Neumann (Chris) of Indianapolis, Whitney Hurt of Indianapolis and Brent Hurt (Kelsey) of Brownstown; her great grandchildren, Sawyer Tape, Sullivan Tape, Davis Neumann, Parker Tape, Pierson Tape, Quinn Neumann and Willow Hurt; and her sister-in-law Shirley Deitz.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Spurgeon Funeral Home (206 E Commerce St, Brownstown, IN 47220). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be given to Brownstown Christian Church or Hoosier Christian Village Auxiliary.
