We are sad to announce that on February 8, 2021, at the age of 81, Barbara Sue Sommers of Brownstown, Indiana, born in Salem, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Scarlett and Flossie Bridgewater Scarlett Lane; her husband David R. Sommers; her son David Wayne Sommers; her great grandchild Savannah Johnson-Carpenter; and her siblings, Edgar, Irvin, Mike, Billy, Blaine Scarlett, Pearlita Rush, Betty Adams and Beverly Wilkerson.
She is survived by: her daughter Becky Givens of Brownstown; her grandchildren, Kerri Reynolds (Justin) and Ben Givens (Brittney); her great grandchildren, Megan and Olivia Saunders; and her siblings, Steve Scarlett, Marlene Perry, Alice Elkins, Marjorie Climer and Naomi Branson.
Johnson Funeral Home will be practicing social distancing according to the CDC guidelines and masks are required during your visit inside the funeral home.
