She was predeceased by: her father Edgar Scarlett; her husband Chester Elkins; her sons, Ronald Dale Elkins and Garold Ray Elkins; her grandson Clay Elkins; and her siblings, Edgar, Irvin, Mike, Billy, Blaine Scarlett, Pearlita Rush, Betty Adams, Beverly Wilkerson and Barbara Sue Sommers.
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Esther Elkins; her grandchildren, Pepper Dunaway and Daniel Elkins; her great grandchildren, Zion, Xavier, Lakin Dunaway and Delaney Elkins; and her siblings, Steve Scarlett, Marlene Perry, Marjorie Climer and Naomi Branson.
