It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Alberta Jones of Brownstown, Indiana, born in Seymour, Indiana, who passed away on November 19, 2020, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Enis Miller and Irene Weinert; her siblings, Audrey Mulberry and William "Billy" Miller; and her great grandchild Hudson Conn.
She is survived by: her husband Elmer Jones; her daughters, Patty Bowman (Gary), Peggy Carter (Colby), Belinda Shelton (Dave), Melissa Amick (Bill) and Debbie Shaw (Jeremy); her grandchildren, Jeremy, Josh, Amanda Bowman, Melinda Purdy (Darren), Casey Cockerham (Heather), Kirtley, Kyle Carter, Courtney Conn (Todd), Kelly Shelton, Joseph Taylor, Cheyenne Holman, Brittany Bowles (Jordan) and Chandra Dishman; and her siblings, Mary Jane Shelton and Jim Miller. She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren.
In accordance with CDC guidelines, masks are required before admittance to the funeral home as well as social distancing within the building.
