With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Yvonne J. Whiteley of Brownsburg, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 8, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Yvonne departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Yvonne may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Yvonne leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Edward and Edith Zimmerman; her parents, Eugene Summers and Mildred Austin; and her brother Mark Austin.
She is survived by: her children, Rhonda Kirkman, Brian Whiteley (MaryAnn), Darlene Badgley (Mark) and Rachele Powers. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Matthews Mortuary (690 E 56th St, Brownsburg, IN 46112). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
