He was predeceased by: his parents, Ted Mathew and Laura Mathew (Hardebeck); his wife Marilyn Marie Mathew (Garing); and his sister Leatha May Miiller (Ralph). He is survived by: his children, Lorie Mathew of Zionsville, Larry Mathew (Marcy) of Lizton, Gary Mathew of Lizton and Lana Cramer (Robert) of Zionsville. He is also survived by six grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A rosary was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Myers Mortuary (1502 N Lebanon St, Lebanon, IN 46052). Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (319 E South St, Lebanon, IN 46052).
