He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Joseph Brulez and Mary Estelle Zahner Brulez; his siblings, Kenneth Brulez and Marylin Shipley; and his nephew Nathaniel Shipley.
He is survived by: his close friend Susanne Smith; his daughters, Elizabeth Mottley (Doug) of Brownsburg, IN, Amelia Savage (Rick) of Tallahassee, FL and Celeste Stinson of Tuscaloosa, AL; his brother Raymond Brulez of Penn Valley, CA; his grandchildren, Michael, Gabriel Mottley, Kurt, Norah, Audrey Stinson, Farrin, Shelby Smith, Kezaiah and Makaila Smith; his nephews, Rob Shipley (Stacy) of Olathe, KS and Zach Shipley (Brittany) of Dodge City, KS; and his niece Marileigh Stutz of Overland Park, KS. He is also survived by five great nieces and nephews, as well extensive family members.
