She was predeceased by: her husband Larry Young; her son David Mize; her father Lee Estle Cowan; her stepmother Hettie Cowan; her mother Wilma Jean Bennet; and her stepson Robert Young.
She is survived by: her children, Jeff Mize and Becky Beddow; her stepsons, Terry Young (Kim) and Scott Young; her granddaughter Jessica (Jeremy); her children, Jamison and Jaylee Linn; her granddaughter Taylor Switzer (Michael); her great grandchildren, Caden of Indiana, Haylee of Indiana, Hayden of Indiana, Luke of Indiana, Wyatt of Indiana and Laurajane Switzer of Indiana; her siblings, Steve Cowan (Debbie) of Eubank, KY, Bruce Cowan of Science Hill, KY and Patsy Hudson of Indiana; and also Judy Wernsman. She is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
