It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ruth E. Sims of Brownsburg, Indiana, born in Lebanon, Indiana, who passed away on December 10, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Loren Souders and Alma Souders (Dye); her brothers, Eugene and Richard Souders; and her sister-in-law Monzelle Souders.
She is survived by: her husband Howard Sims; her children, Sharon Mang (Paul), Sandra Schonegg (Ron), David Sims (Melanie) and Paul Sims (Beatriz Alvarez); her grandchildren, Sean Mang (Amanda), Aaron Mang, Kendra Scanlon (Connor), Samantha, Jessica Schonegg, Andrew (Olivia), Ryan, Rebecca, Ariane Sims, Andrea and Angelica of Leon; and her sister-in-law Yona Souders. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation for family and friends, observing CDC and state guidelines for social distancing and facial coverings will be held on Wednesday December 16, 2020 from noon to 2pm at the Calvary United Methodist Church, Brownsburg.
Memorials may be made to the Calvary United Methodist Church, the Indiana 4-H Foundation, or Breast Cancer Research.
