He was predeceased by: his parents, Ott Baumer and Leona Baumer (Shepherd); his wife Carolyn Baumer (Brown); his son Stephen Baumer; and his son-in-law Dicky Correa.
He is survived by: his daughter Julia Correa; his grandchildren, Daniel Correa (Sara), Jeremiah Correa (Brandi) and Lisa Darby; and his siblings, Harriet LaFollette and Richard Baumer. He is also survived by nine great-grandaughters; thirteen great great grandchildren.
