He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard R. Boswell Sr. and Rosemary T. Boswell (Flanagan). He is survived by: his daughter Jessica Ridenour (Bob); his grandchildren, Noah, Joel, Jacob, Luke, Lazarus and Shoshanna Ridenour; and his siblings, Michael Boswell, Patricia Crawford (Hugh), Beverly Price (Steve), Maureen Morefield, Charles Boswell (Diane), James Boswell and Mary Boswell. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
