He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Parton and Mary Parton; his sister Barbara Adams; and his son Christopher Parton. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Parton; his children, Sarah Parton, David Parton and Angela Parton; his stepsons, Christopher Werth and Steven Werth; and his siblings, Virgil Parton, Diana McCreary, Susie Martin and Lowell Parton. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; and many cousins, aunts and uncles.
