She was predeceased by: her husband Paul Douglas; her son Stephen E. Douglas; her parents, Daniel Newport and Alice Newport; her siblings, Herbert Newport, Victor Newport and Betty Stanz; and her great great grandchild Delilah Mae.
She is survived by: her daughter Peggy Turner (Gary); and her brother Forest Newport (Charlotte). She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 15 great great grandchildren.
