He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Leslie and Lottie Edith Hopkins (Page); and his great grandchild Holden David High. He is survived by: his brother Marion Hopkins (Carolyn); his wife Betty Ann Pruett Adkins; his children, Kerry Joseph Hopkins (Cindy Stephens) and Pamela Joy Stevenson (Jack); and his granddaughters, Lana Michelle Ebaugh (Mike) and Elizabeth Annette (Beth).
