She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell B. Powers and Maggie V. Powers (Brazzell); her son David Nutgrass; and her sister Donna Martin. She is survived by: her husband Gene Nutgrass; her children, Kim Mendenhall (Brad) and Scott Nutgrass; and her grandchildren, Candas, Ashley, Jessica, Brittany, Nick and Hunter.
