He was predeceased by: his parents, Ted Cox and Margaret Cox. He is survived by: his siblings, Kenny Hammel (Joan), Clint Alexander, Marti Coburn Cox (Mark) and Cindy Wilkerson; his nieces and nephews, Shelly, Debbie, Donna, Lisa, Pam, Megan, Jim, Eric, Max and Eli; and his close friend Ward Cook.
