She was predeceased by: her parents, William Steinmetz and Mary Steinmetz (Loftus); her husband Richard Duncan; and her siblings, William Steinmetz Jr., Thomas Steinmetz, Ellen Naughton Cronin and Elizabeth Roseman.

She is survived by: her sister Mary Hook; and her children, Janet M. Hellman (James), Richard H. Duncan II (Lynda), Stephen R. Duncan (Kathy), William J. Duncan and Christopher D. Duncan (Monica). She is also survived by 22 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren.
