He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Dezelan and Dorothy Dezelan; and his siblings, Dorothy Dezelan Kirk and William Dezelan (Toni). He is survived by: his wife Julia Murphy Dezelan; his children, Julianne Osecki (Victor), Jeannie Cairns (Michel), James Dezelan Jr., Jennifer Rutherford (Mark) and Bob Murphy (Nancy); his grandchildren, Luci Byrnes (Ben), Daniel Osecki, Anthony Cairns, Claire Herman (Brent), Andrew Cairns (Emmy), Jaime Bradley, Kim Bell (Brian) and Sarah English (JD); and his great grandchildren, Luke Cairns, Owen Byrnes, Cora Byrnes, Nora Cairns, Lily Cairns, Gabby Bradley, Maya English, Emma Bell and Ethan Bell.
