She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Clossin and Myra Clossin; and her siblings, Vernon Clossin Jr. and Rhonda Blades. She is survived by: her husband Lowell Shafer; her children, Ann Shafer-Von Tersch, Todd Shafer and Amy Shafer Tessmann; and her brother Keith Clossin. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
