He is survived by: his wife Peggy Joyce Choate (Barrett); his sons, Ron Choate (Diana) and Jeff Choate (Joyce); his grandchildren, Eric Choate (Emily), Denise Welch (Bryan), Kimberly Hostetter (Scott) and Krista Venegas (Sam); his great grandchildren, Shane, Braydon (Alyssa), Rayne, Zhenia, Lincoln, Adelyn, Zane, Gatlin, Avery, Colton and Easton; and his sister Marilyn Williamson.
