He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl William'Bill' and Naomi May'Gretchen' Bergin (Foreman); his sister Lora Volz; his parents-in-law, Ray and Helen Beneker; and his brother-in-law Roger Beneker.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Bergin of Brookville; his sons, Brendan Bergin (Julie) of Louisville and Michael Bergin of Brookville, Indiana; his grandchildren, Pierce and Caroline Bergin; and his brother Mark Bergin (Faye) of Brookville. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
