With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wilbur Pennington of Brookville, Indiana, born in Connersville, Indiana, who passed away on March 1, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Pennington and Linnie Pennington (Retherford); his siblings, Dorothy Wright, Irene Wells, Hazel Sparks, Jacob Pennington, Virgil Pennington and Raymond Pennington; and his children-in-law, Sheila Pennington and Claude Sturgell.
He is survived by: his children, Brenda Riley of Brookville, Indiana, Kathy Race (Gene) of Brookville, Indiana, Kenneth Pennington (Janet Hunter) of Brookville, Indiana and Marvetta Pennington of Brookville, Indiana; and his siblings, Geraldine Pierce (Carl) of Sunman, Betty McDaniel of Brookville, Barbara Joy Marsh of Brookville, Chuck Pennington (Char) of North Vernon and Robert Pennington (Kim) of Columbus, Indiana.. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren.
