He is survived by: his close friend Ursla; his wife Verlene Davis Smith; his children, Lisa Jones (Allen Ison), James Carender (Jamie) and Jeremiah Cannon (Misty); his grandchildren, Taylor Ison-Maly (Logan), Nathan Jones (Kinsey), Daniel Jones, Jamie Carender, Kori Carender, Caitlin Marie, Gage Wilson, Kade Wilson and Miley Cannon; his great grandchild Gwen Rose; his parents, Warren and Ann of Illinois; his sisters, Paula Ekstrom (Daniel) of Wilmington and Teresa "Kathy" Ryan of Kankakee, Illinois; his uncle Jim Snider (Mary); and his nieces and nephews, Brooke, Jason, Sara, Gabriel, James, Katie, Daniel and Andy.
