He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Hinkle and Sally Hinkle (Proffitt); and his siblings, Gladys Parker, Charlie Hinkle, Everett Hinkle and Bobby Hinkle.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Gregory; his children, Karen Richards of La Grange, Kentucky, Melissa Orschell of Brookville, Roger Hinkle of Brookville, Jeannie Summers of Lawrenceburg and Julie Hinkle of Brookville, Indiana; and his siblings, Elsa Martin of Oxford, Eugene Hinkle of Hamilton, Delbert Hinkle of London and Phyllis McQueen of London, Kentucky.. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren.
