We are sad to announce that on January 30, 2024, at the age of 85, Philip L. Houston of Brookville, Indiana, born in Winchester, Indiana passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Philip L. Houston to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Herschel Houston and Mildred Houston Williams (Allison); his stepfather Robert Williams; his brother Dick Houston; his sister-in-law Donna Houston; and his parents-in-law, George and Francis Kirklin.

He is survived by: his wife Joan; his daughters, Lori Brame (Scott), Amy Oler (Chris) and Julie Houston; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Brame, Wesley Brame, Philip Crump, Molly Oler and Michael Oler; his niece Terri Gillay (Dave); his nephews, Jeff Houston (Jessie) and Tim Houston (Megan); and his large Kirklin.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made through the funeral home to Columbus East Endowment Fund (Please make checks out to Columbus East Alumni Association, P.O. Box 1372, Columbus, IN 47202), First United Methodist Church, or Our Hospice of South-Central Indiana.
