He was predeceased by: his parents, George Gardner and Lena Gardner (Bernhart); his wife Marjorie Roell; and his sisters, Marie Cooper and Geraldine Pence.
He is survived by: his son Michael; his daughter-in-law Terri Gardner of Brookville; his grandsons, Alex Gardner (Katie) and Grant Gardner (Shelby); and his great grandchild Sophia Gardner.
