He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Alphonse and Seraphine Schulte Ferkinhoff; his daughter Elizabeth; his siblings, Mary Catherine (Jim Tekulve), Daniel (Rita Ferkinhoff), Jo Ellen Dietz and Cliff (Delores Ferkinhoff); and his brother-in-law Bob Schutte.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Ferkinhoff; his children, Carrie DeFossett (Kevin), Aaron Ferkinhoff (Anica) and Adam Ferkinhoff (Gina); his grandchildren, Tyus, Mykaela, Colin, Cole, Clay and Peter; his sister Donna Schutte; and his brother-in-law Jim Dietz.
