He is survived by: his children, Lester Pierce Jr. (Nancy) and Lola Vandrey (Nathan); his siblings, Carl Pierce (Geraldine) and Connie Abercrombie (James); and his grandchildren, Kathryn and Samuel Vandrey. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
