He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Walter, Alberta Amrhein, Orville and Marjorie Schwegman; his uncles, Timothy Barry, Thomas Suding and Wayne Halcomb; his cousin Jenni Biltz; and his close friend Derik "Bub" Orschell.
He is survived by: his parents, Vernon "Ernie" Schwegman and Phyllis Amrhein Schwegman; his sister Joni; his brother-in-law Ben Goins; his fiancé Shannon Jaehnen; his nephews, Hudson and Nolan Goins; and his niece Madelyn.
