He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Madden and Phena Madden (Cook); his brothers, Leon (Nola Madden) and Eugene (Vivian Madden); and his sister-in-law Virginia Madden.
He is survived by: his wife Ilene Burch; his children, Liz Estes of Columbia, James D. Madden (Diana) of Laurel, Teresa Tucker (Roger) of Everton, Jason Madden (Tara), Serena Cox (late Jerome) of Connersville and Jeremiah Madden of Brookville; his grandchildren, Katrena Harris (Wayne), Jalena Ball (Eric), Tasha Estes, Crystal Vestal (John), Matt Madden (Abby), Jacob Madden (Amber), Cody Madden (Kayleen), Rebecca Moore (Nick), Tessa Schirmer (Josh), Jessi Hammond (Charle), Krista Marcum (Colt), Kaleigh Peters (Greg), Josh Baker, Ayla Bulmer (Eric), Amanda Harlan (Gary), Thea Ison (Nate), Garrett Madden and Bria Cox; and his siblings, Sylvia Sechrest (David), Loretta Beach (Jerry) and David Madden. He is also survived by grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild on the way, and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Blooming Grove Family Worship Church (15001 Stone Church Rd, Brookville, IN 47012). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Blooming Grove Family Worship Church South Sr. (15001 Stone Church Rd, Brookville, IN 47012).
